We are pleased to announce the upcoming support for Mobile number portability (MNP) in Billbery 3.0 VoIP billing system release. New MNP feature release will be presented on Marсh 20th.
MNP is the great feature that allows the subscribers to retain their existing mobile phone number when they move from one access provider to another or from one cellular mobile technology to another within same access provider service area. Such options are very convenient for customers, but proved to be a real pain for provider companies. The difficulties lie in humongous routing tables, procession of which generate high loads, drastically lowering performance of routing and billing equipment.
