With streamlined functionality and improved security, JeraSoft is pleased to announce the release of JeraSoft Billing v3.27, available starting April 15, 2025. This update will help our clients’ billing operations become more effective, safe, and flexible.
Major Updates
Our services are continuously being improved to increase the security and efficiency of your company. This time, we concentrated on three main areas: improving subscription management, facilitating foreign transactions, and bolstering fraud prevention.
REST API
In version 3.27, we are enhancing our already extensive API by adding REST API support alongside JSON-RPC. Widely adopted and developer-friendly, REST simplifies integration and offers broad compatibility across programming languages.

EU PEPPOL Invoices
In the newest release JeraSoft Billing now supports EU PEPPOL electronic invoicing, ensuring compliance with modern business and regulatory requirements. This standardized XML format streamlines secure invoice exchange enabling seamless integration with suppliers’ systems and enhancing operational efficiency.
Packages and Subscriptions
Version 3.27 introduces greater flexibility in managing entitlements within subscriptions. Previously limited to outgoing calls, subscriptions can now include entitlements for incoming events, such as paid inbound calls. Additionally, it’s now possible to create combined entitlements covering both incoming and outgoing events, like a shared 100-minute allowance per month.
Fraud Detection
Additionally we’ve enhanced the Active Sessions report with real-time monitoring and automated response capabilities. This allows you to track active sessions based on specific criteria and take immediate action when needed. While strengthening fraud detection, these improvements also enhance overall monitoring and security.
Minor Updates
With version 3.27 JeraSoft Billing has completed a full migration to Debian 12 and upgraded to PostgreSQL 17. This major backend enhancement ensures improved performance, security, and long-term stability for the platform.
Authorization has been simplified with the addition of X-Api-Key authentication in request headers for both JSON-RPC and REST APIs. This widely adopted method enhances security while ensuring seamless integration and better access control.
In addition to the updates mentioned above, many other parts of the system have received improvements and fixes, further enhancing overall performance and usability.
